Hi there.

 My name is Marcus, and im a bloke from Sweden.
Been a friend with Ignacio from WarStuft since i started up my painting a couple of years ago.
A little about me: I live in southern Sweden. Family consists of my wife, and our three sons, Gabriel, Loki and Thor.

All three have more or less some interest in the painting, so there is hope of passing it on 🙂

Anyway, my tutorial then. This is how i do disc pattern camo for 15mm wargaming.

Same technique can of course be applied to all scales.

From start to finish. my painting style may not be award winning, but im always trying to find a good balance between time and result 🙂

Hello, my friend and colleague Ignacio from WarStuft asked me for a series of model kits reviews because of my long service on the model building career and the love to them!!!.

I feel for miniatures. I kindly accepted his offer and from now on Ill be publishing some reviews, worklogs and tutorials always from a personal and amateur point of view.

I´m  42 years old, from Spain, and with two beautiful daughters just growing up.

Time is scarce, English language a personal proposal, and being a bit inquisitive a way of life.

Panzer VI Ausf.B Königstiger (1944) by WarStuft

Concept and development

The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger II Ausf. B “Königstiger” (Sd.Kfz.182) / VK4503(H) was the most powerful combat tank produced and deployed during the World War II. Up to the end of the war, the Allies did not introduce anything that could effectively counter it on the battlefield.

The Tiger II combined a powerful and effective gun with think sloped armor that was virtually impervious to any Allied tank or anti-tank gun. The result was battlefield history.

Zvezda´s Sturmtiger Kit Review and Painting worklog by WarStuft.

Development

Sturmtiger (German: “Assault Tiger”) was a World War II German assault gun built on the Tiger I chassis and armed with a 380 mm rocket-propelled round.

The official German designation was Sturmmörserwagen 606/4 mit 38 cm RW 61.

Its primary task was to provide heavy fire support for infantry units fighting in urban areas.

The few vehicles produced fought in the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of the Reichswald.

The fighting vehicle is also known under a large number of informal names, among which the Sturmtiger became the most popular.

The idea for a heavy infantry support vehicle capable of demolishing heavily defended buildings or fortified areas with a single shot came out of the experiences of the heavy urban fighting in the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942. Read More →

Alpha Ares- Dau 17 Whith WarStuft

Greetings to all Alpha Ares & Dau colleagues and my congratulations for your great work.

WarStuft is proud to have contributed a little, for the success of the Event, specifically in the Sif´s Demo who recreates the Battle of Gandesa, a greeting to Ferran and his partner, great work done.

In this recreation has been represented with miniatures a scenario set in the fighting that is produced in Gandesa at the end of July 1938, at the beginning of the well-known battle of the Ebro, so decisive and crucial for the future of the Spanish Civil War. Read More →

Re-scaling resources to Our Prefered wargames by WarStuft

One of the main problems we have when we pull Google, is that not all resources are located in the scale we work with.

Posters,, scennery elements, Flags, papercraft Buildings… etc can easily be converted with the Microsoft Paint and a complement we must have to have installed on the computer a virtual printer ,that allows us to export the printed file in .pdf format.

Once we have opened the image with the paint program we can go to the main dialogue tab and choose the option print and then page setup. Read More →
