Hi mates…!!! here I´m whith another piece of scennery who is a must have in every Battle table, gives conceleament to the units and gives personality booth urban or Country landscapes.
For those worklog we need…
- Black carboard for the floor or wall section.
- Foam Core board to do the walls.
- HotMelt gun.
- X-Acto Knife.
- Elmer´s Glue.
- Metal Ruler.
- Acrylic Paints.
- Sand, peebles, gravel.
- Static grass, tufts and flowered tufts.
- Corrugated board.
We prepared the basic shape of those L-Junction wall. We cuted also the wall with foam core board, in those example we did the central section collapsed.
Then we can carve bricks on the main panels of the wall, peeling the foam core surface. With a sharpy pen we carved the shape of bricks. Also we can carve some bullets holes and cracked surface.
We check booth pieces if fit well, then using HotMelt gun we paste booth carefully,….
To give better aspect to the colapsed wall, We cut small bricks with the foam, then we put some glue and then put on the bricks, some sand gravel and peebles to simulate debris. You can add some broken matchsticks.
See the details of the walls and all variations the limit it´s your imagination.
I used to paint the wall siena from Americana, and black red for the bricks. Then I did a Heavy Black Wash and then I did three levels of highlighting mixing siena plus + Iraqi Sand of Vallejo.
For the floor, I painted burnt umber and then using drybrush using iraqui Sand from Vallejo.
Then you can add static grass , tufts and flowered tufts to give better aspect.
The gate its a great complement for those kind of scennery.
You can improve those wall adding small stripes of red corrugated board to simulate Arabic singes, but those tip its only valid for Mediterranean Stile walls..
The last steep will be add some propaganda posters and that´s , you´ll have a very cool walls for your game table.
That´s all folks…Thx for watching.
